How it does good
Cocoa Santé sources their high quality cocoa using an Equal Partner Direct Buying Program. They purchase directly from the farm cooperatives in the Dominican Republic and South America, so they can ensure their farmers get the best prices. Their milk and organic cane sugar come from cooperatives in Vermont, and they keep the rest of their ingredients as natural and organic as possible while staying mindful of sustainable and ethical practices. By supporting cocoa farms that are owned and operated by small scale farmers, the profits from Cocoa Santé's purchases can directly aid area education projects and infrastructure.

Cocoa Sante Parisian was strong and more bitter than the Nestle Swiss Miss I was used to. I've been using it to make mocha coffee. Then I added a teaspoon of cream and a half teaspoon of sugar to my 2 tablespoons of cocoa, let my coffee perk into the cup and it is the best mocha coffee!

It was very weak in flavor. To achieve a quality cup of hot cocoa would require using half the tin, and this brand is not cheap. More expensive than Starbucks and without the enjoyment. Whereas I appreciate the sustainability aspect of your business, there has to be an advantage for customers paying the high price per ounce. This is definitely not worth it. We tried three flavors and were disappointed in all three. Sadly disappointed since we were hoping to order two dozen and use for neighbor gifts this Christmas.
