Details

Thanks to Cora, menstrual discs are about to become your new favorite period solution. Designed to sit at the entrance of the cervix, the super soft premium silicone creates a natural seal for a more comfortable fit without suction or guesswork. The flat, innovative design is one-size-fits-most, and has a groove to help with finger placement for easy insertion. And if you weren't in love already, it's made to self-empty when you use the bathroom and can be worn comfortably during sex. Now that's a serious cycle upgrade.

How to Use

First, sanitize by boiling in water for 5-7 minutes. Squeeze the disc into a figure 8 and insert as easily as a tampon. For more details, refer to the how-to guide included with your period disc, or visit https://cora.life/pages/how-to-insert-disc. For best results, boil your disc between uses or wash with pH-balanced Cora’s cup cleanse to avoid irritation.

How it does good

Around the world, an estimated 100 million girls experience period poverty. Launched as a force for change, Cora is on a mission to give every girl the right to experience her body the way it was intended by using a percentage of profits to provide pads and health education through their partners in India, Kenya, and the United States. And with period care products that are carefully made to radically reduce the amount of plastic and waste generated compared to competitors, Cora is making period care that you can trust to be good for your body and the planet.

Cora

Cora advocates for women’s health by empowering women around the world and making thoughtful period products made from organic materials. While traveling through developing countries working for women’s human rights, Founder Molly Hayward saw firsthand how menstruation negatively affects girls and women who are unable to afford period care. Many end up suffering from infections and health problems by resorting to unsanitary materials. Back in the U.S., she learned that menstrual products could contain synthetic materials and chemicals like pesticide residues. From then on, she knew she wanted to create a brand that would advocate for women's health around the world with products that re-imagine the period experience.
