A zero-waste replacement for conventional toothpaste, these tabs polish your teeth while tackling plaque and tartar like a champ. The result is a less abrasive clean compared to most toothpastes, without sacrificing that minty fresh feeling. And without additives like sodium saccharin, artificial colors, or nanoparticles, you don't absorb anything extra via your mouth. This little compostable bag holds enough tabs to last you 2 months.

How it does good

Every year, an estimated 400 million toothpaste tubes are discarded in the U.S., and at least 1.5 billion on a global scale. And with most of them made out of plastic, those tubes need 500 years to degrade. Unpaste wants to change that with their zero-waste toothpaste tablets.     Plastic Free Toothpaste

    This product is a good option for reducing plastic. I use it in the evening and I use traditional toothpaste in the morning. The reason I do not use it exclusively is because it is not quite as good at cleaning my teeth as the baking soda toothpaste I have been using. Cutting my toothpaste plastic in half is better than nothing.

    Plastic Free Toothpaste

    I am a big plasticphobe so when I saw these non-fluoride tooth tabs, I thought I'd give them a try. They don't clean my teeth as well as the toothpaste with baking soda that I currently use. My teeth don't feel as smooth after brushing. I'm not sure if using two tabs at a time would make a difference, but it would be very expensive. Now I am brushing with toothpaste once a day and the tooth tabs once a day. I haven't made a decision yet as to whether I will order again.

    Effective. But a little too small.

    The tabs were easy to chew, especially using the molars and delightfully minty, but a little too small. I have been using 2 at a time.
