Details

Make your most important meal of the day the most delicious one, too. This canister of old-fashioned rolled oats has loads of fiber for a breakfast with staying power. Kodiak Cakes' food is inspired by the frontier days when folks had to eat a filling, healthy breakfast before a hard day's work. You might not be milking cows or tilling fields after eating these oats, but you'll still be powered up and ready to take on the day.

Ingredients

100% Whole Grain Rolled Oats, Pea Protein Concentrate With Tapioca Starch, Whey Protein Crisps (Whey Protein Isolate, Whey Protein Concentrate, Tapioca Starch)

Allergens: Contains milk. Due to processing on shared equipment, contains trace amounts of soy, tree nuts, and wheat.

How to Use

Take on the day with old-fashioned oats that are packed with filling fiber.

Recycling

The canister can be recycled in your cubside bin. The plastic top should be sent to TerraCycle for recycling.

These are general guidelines for broadly-recyclable materials. Check with your local recycler to confirm what they take.

How it does good

Kodiak Cakes isn't interested in cutting corners when it comes to their ingredients. They partner with non-GMO farms because genetically-modified crops can have negative consequences that affect our environment and our bodies. Before they agree to source an ingredient, Kodiak ensures that the farm works with nature as an ally, not an adversary. They also partner with Recycle Utah to reduce environmental impact from landfill waste to energy usage to staff carbon footprints. By 2023, they will publish their "green goals," a list of seven pledges they are making to our earth.

Kodiak

Kodiak began in 1982 when Penny Clark sent her 8-year-old son Joel into the neighborhood with a red wagon filled with paper bags of her father’s heirloom flapjack mix. He returned with an empty wagon and lifelong plans. Decades later, Joel launched booming pancake brand Kodiak Cakes. Though they've grown tremendously, they remain family-owned and still make each product as if they were crafting a homemade recipe to share with friends and neighbors. They're committed to keeping the great outdoors wild.
