They don't use any additives, preservatives or emulsifiers. 88 Acres uses Organic Expeller Pressed Sunflower Oil - that means the oil is physically extracted from the seeds rather than using solvents or chemicals. This reduces the risk of having traces of chemicals in the oil. 88 Acres' products do not contain ingredients on Hive's No Good, Dirty Rotten list of banned and watch list ingredients.
88 Acres owns their facility and creates zero food waste by using upcycling and composting at their facilities. They follow all FDA regulations regarding lead and heavy metals and very batch of their oats is tested for glyphosate, and they uphold stricter standards than the EPA.
