Pop music raves about California girls, but we think the California natives most deserving of a ballad are these olives. Combined with their overseas cousins, this blend is like the global ambassador of oils.

From raisins to Disneyland, some of our favorite things come from the Golden State. And places like Argentina, Chile, and Portugal are at the top of our bucket list. Seeping with thick, golden oil that boasts hints of fresh flowers and herbs. It’s complicated enough for dipping and drizzling without distracting when it’s part of a dish. A little grassy, it’s so rich, you can taste sunshine from all over the world.

California Olive Ranch uses an innovative solar-powered irrigation process to prevent water waste, and their bottles are 100% recycable.

The glass bottle and metal lid, once rinsed and separated, are curbside recyclable. The plastic pour spout is recyclable through TerraCycle by following our special instructions.
These are general guidelines for broadly-recyclable materials. Check with your local recycler to confirm what they take.

How it does good

Defying convention, perfecting tradition

Olive trees thrive in the desert, which means commercial olive farming takes place in some of the driest parts of the world. When it’s done on a large scale, this can mean depleting natural water sources in inefficient irrigation processes. Also common are pesticides, which hurt more than just hungry fruit flies by seeping into soil, water, and the very olives we eat. The Golden State-based farmers at California Olive Ranch took a look at traditional olive farming and decided to enhance it. Their revolutionary eco-friendly practices reduce water usage, a boon in drought-ridden California. They also test their oils for taste, chemical makeup, and pesticide residue, ensuring that what makes it to your table is high-quality, vegan, and free from harmful chemicals.
