If sunshine had a flavor, it'd be this organic seville orange spread. Bright and tart, this jam uses a very special white grape juice concentrate. You're getting 100% real fruit sweetness with no refined sugar.

Why we love it

In southern Spain orange trees bask in golden sunlight. When the oranges grow heavy and sweet, they’re picked and turned into this organic jam. This sparkling citrus flavor delivers mouthfuls of real fruit sweetness with just a little help from a special white grape concentrate (instead of refined sugar). When we're feeling bold, we pair a scoop of this jam with a big slice of chocolate cake.

How it does good

Making the world a better place with every spread

Sustainable practices in farming can and should be a part of the business from day one. Since 1989, Crofter's has been making organic fruit spreads using fair trade ingredients. Each year, their products undergo strict organic audits, including herbicide and pesticide tests at their in-house lab. To sweeten their jams, they work with fair-trade certified cane sugar farms that use regenerative farming techniques. This means the sugar is responsibly grown and harvested so that the surrounding land and water are kept clean and free from pollutants.

  • responsible sourcing

From their heirloom fruit to the cane sugar, Crofter's takes special care to source organic, fair-trade, and sustainably farmed ingredients.
  • low carbon footprint

Crofter's recycles 99% of the raw material packaging that comes through their production facility. That means they only sending one small bin to the landfill each week. They also purify and recirculate all of their water runoff, which has reduced their water consumption by 85%. In the winter, the hot water they use to seal their jam jars is repurposed to heat all of their buildings.

How to use it

Pair with pancakes, slather on scones, blend into salad dressing. We could go on, but you get the idea.

When you're done...

The lid and jar are fully curbside recyclable once separated.

These are general guidelines for broadly-recyclable materials. Check with your local recycler to confirm what they take.

Good marmalade

Nice combination of tart and sweet flavors without added sugar. I like that it’s not overly sweet like some low sugar marmalades.
