How it does good
Four Sigmatic ensures that the plants and fungi they source are grown on organic farms that use regenerative practices. Fungi farms (unlike meat and dairy farms) require very little water and power to grow and harvest their plants. When it comes time to package their product, Four Sigmatic chooses packaging made from 30% post-consumer waste that's 100% recyclable. They have also partnered with tentree to become "climate+". Climate+ doesn't just mean net zero carbon emissions. It means removing additional carbon dioxide from the atmosphere by planting 40,000 trees. In the next 10 years, Four Sigmatic will help remove 13,600 metric tons of CO2 from our atmosphere.
