Vegan Cheddar Lily Seed Pops

Finger-licking good has a new meaning now that we've tried these vegan cheddar water lily puffs. This protein-rich, light-as-air snack is a grain-free, corn-free alternative to other snackfoods.
Sustainable goodness
Eat Makhana works closely with a fair trade farm on the India-Nepal border to ensure their water lily seeds are responsibly harvested.
Why we love it
We had to do a double take when we tried these lily seed pops. Literally, we immediately reached for another handful. We simply could not believe the cheese was vegan. It's just that cheddar-y. And the lily seed pops themselves? Delish. They practically melt in your mouth despite having impressive nutritional value (hello, protein!). Plus, all your buds can snack on them, no matter what they're dietary needs are.

How it does good
Protecting and working with ancient ecosystems
Eat Makhana sources their water lily seeds from fair-wage farming cooperatives about 100 miles from Mount Everest on the India-Nepal border. The nutrient dense seeds are sustainably hand-harvested from ancient pond ecosystems without any machinery. The seeds are then naturally dried and sent to California to be popped and seasoned.
