Richard Lassalle worked in corporate advertising for years. One day, he decided that just wasn’t his passion (relatable, eh?), so he decided to start his own small-batch food company. HLTHPUNK defies convention with its delicious, good-for-you foods that are also better for our planet. All products are oat-based, which is much more sustainable to farm than let’s say: dairy. From their kitchen to their processing facility, HLTHPUNK puts our planet first. See their packaging: it’s 100% recyclable aluminum instead of single-use plastic. You can feel good about buying these sustainable, animal-free foods that taste fantastic, too.
For now, HLTHPUNK uses aluminium for their goods, which can be recycled endlessly. In the (near) future, they plan to develop a fully biodegradable packaging alternative.

Every ingredient in this package is organic, fair trade certified, and farmed sustainably. HLTHPUNK doesn’t touch preservatives or additives with a 10 foot pole. They also use oats as their base ingredient because they’re easy to grow and require very little water.

About the Brand
HLTHPUNK
After a successful career as a designer in the film industry, HLTHPUNK founder Richard J. Lassalle rediscovered his first love: art and food. With some good friends, he created a little company called Entube, delivering a line of clean, intensely flavored chili pastes in an iconic silver tube. Entube became a darling in gourmet food circles, winning a much coveted SOFI award for their rich intensely flavored Harissa paste loved by chefs and home cooks alike. Soon they found that the traditional condiment market was ripe for a punk revolution. The new health conscious consumer was looking for sustainable, delicious, plant based, innovations, with a focus on the wellness of our society.

Rick from the Hive Merch Team here. I'm obsessed with this product. From the day it arrived as a trial sample to evaluate it has become my new favorite condiment. Just the right level of smokey-heat! It's super versatile, adding zest to soup, a burger, morning hash (my personal favorite) or stir fry. Great packaging too. The tube is different, but I found it to be a great way to get the dosage just right.

I had tried Harissa before, but was disappointed. It was just another spicy condiment, not even with the depth of tabasco for me. Until a friend recommended that I try this brand, that is. What a difference! Just from the initial aroma I could tell this was going to have a complex flavor. I tentatively put about a third of an inch in my bowl of hot pho soup and it bumped it up to a whole new level. Now this is what a good condiment does- enhance and complement the dish without overwhelming it. Will definitely be getting more!
