Snack companies haven't always had transparency and control when it comes to production. The people at Lesser Evil saw this as a problem to solve. They branched out on their own so they could control the whole process, from ingredients to recipes. They started with sourcing as many ingredients as they could domestically and prioritizing trusted international supply chains. By keeping control over facilities, they've also been able to take on sustainability initiatives. In the factories, they use on demand faucets to reduce water waste and replaced their old light fixtures with eco-friendly LED lighting.
Lesser Evil uses organic ingredients from reliable sources with as much domestic partnership as possible.

I bought these as a snack for my toddler with a dairy allergy. The texture is great , a cross between baby puff and cheeto with a slight chew but the flavor is bland and unappealing. Just bland would be ok, like a saltine but there is an extra flavor that no one in my household likes. I really like lesser evil and I think this is probably a great product for anyone looking for a snack that avoids certain ingredients, my family just didn't care for it.

My daughter is basically allergic to air (not really- but you get my drift). She is allergic to dairy, nuts, wheat, gluten, corn, grains, food coloring, msg… and the list truly goes on. She also is really particular about textures. We struggle with finding snacks that she enjoys and doesn’t trigger her eczema, asthma, or an allergic reaction. These snacks did the trick. We also buy the sweet potato ones this brand has and never leave the house without one or the other!!!
