They're in their second decade of partnership with the California Ricelands Waterbird Foundation, a partnership between rice farmers and waterbird conservation groups. They source a lot of the rice for their crackers from California Rice Commission farmers, and also provide support to the Foundation as it pursues its important mission. Both the Foundation and the Commission manage wildlife conservation programs which have transformed hundreds of acres of rice fields into seasonal wetland habitats for birds.
