We're big fans of coconut and curry, and all combinations in between. Traditionally made with fresh seafood on Goa’s moonlit beaches, coconut curry gets its sublime flavor from subtle spices and tamarind. The best part is that the more you simmer this stuff with other ingredients, the sauce gets even thicker and creamier, bringing out the layers of spices and just the right amount of heat. How to use it

Sear your choice of protein then pour in the coconut curry. Rinse out the jar with 2 tbsp of stock or water, so no sauce is left behind. When almost cooked, add coconut milk. Pair with rice for the perfect meal.

Founded on the deep and meaningful act of gathering around the table as a family, Masala Mama creates products that brings people together. Growing up in Kolkata, India, founder Nidhi Jalan, was always passionate about food, going to farmer’s markets, trying out unusual vegetables, and sampling different regional cuisines. After moving to the U.S., she missed the nuance of homemade Indian food, so every time she went back to India she'd return with recipes for her favorite dishes.
