Why we love it
The idea of successfully making an Indian grandmother-approved dinner can be daunting, but Masala Mama makes replicating those complex flavors as easy as tearing into a fresh plate of naan. Nothing screams comfort food or takes us back to that week we spent in London during college like tikka masala. It's creamy, packs a flavor trip in every bite, and never fails to be lick-the-plate-clean delicious.

I'm always cautious when it comes to Indian recipes - trying to stay away from "too hot" and "too mushy". This sauce (and super-easy instructions they provide on the jar) is a perfection! Paires perfectly with naan, rice and cucumber raita. Lovely rich flavor, nothing overpowering. It was the first time I was tempted to eat it just with a spoon like a soup haha. I used half&half as my choice of cream - creates a super tasty yet a bit runny sauce. Will probably stick to heavy cream next time. Bottom line: I found a new pantry staple!
I usually avoid pre-made sauces b/c of the funky ingredients they add. But THIS. This tikka masala has no funky junk and it's SOOOOO good. You literally don't have to add any additional seasoning, it is PERFECTION.
Hi Hive! Katie from the merch team here. I had this tikka masala sauce in chicken tikka last night and it hands down might be the best chicken tikka I've had. Not too hot, verrrrry flavorful, and we added some extra butter because why not? More please!!
