Chickpeas with Tomato and Onion Chana
After trying this Maya Kaimal take on Chana Masala, there's no going back. Its flavor is built on onion, garlic, and ginger—with bright tomato notes and bursts of warm cumin seeds. Our preferred method of eating it: scooping it up with delicious flatbread.

About the Brand
Raised on her father's delicious South Indian food, Maya Kaimal noticed the lack of quality Indian products in the grocery stores, so in 2003, she left her publishing job and launched a food business with her husband, out of their Brooklyn apartment. Using her collection of family recipes, she worked to create convenient Indian food that tastes just as good as the homemade version. After Maya's original refrigerated sauces were well received in NYC specialty stores, her line evolved to include shelf stable simmer sauces, dals, chanas, rice and condiments.Shop Brand
