Turning the tide toward sustainable ingredients
Simple Mills was founded with a simple goal: to make a lasting, positive impact on ingredients lists and the recipes behind them. This woman-owned business is striving to bring clean, recognizable, non-GMO ingredients to all eaters, with an eye on keeping their great-tasting products affordable, thanks to efforts to keep costs from trickling down. They're committed to providing transparency on everything they source, which includes organic sunflower oil and ethical palm oil. By baking, not frying, their crackers, they eliminate the environmental impacts of oil disposal, and with vegan baking mixes, they're making it easy to opt out on animal byproducts. Simple Mills is inspiring people to be more mindful about what they're eating and how it's made.
All the ingredients Simple Mills uses, from almond flour to vanilla extract, are transparent to customers, and all of their products are made in North America. Everything they source is non-GMO, which means reduced use of pesticides and increased chance for biodiversity.
Learn MoreBy using mostly vegan ingredients and recipes, Simple Mills eliminates the animal welfare issues and waste that can be found in dairy manufacturing. They also source environmentally certified, ethical palm oil, produced without harm to workers, forests, or endangered animals.

Good
I've never used almond flour in my baking abd was skeptical at first. However, the cookies turn out great and delicious. Hubby had no idea they were made with almond flour. Definitely would recommend and will be using again
Tasty GF Treat
I was so excited to try these. I have been gluten free for 3 years and I haven't tried many of the newer gluten free products. I have to say, as we were making these, I was very concerned about how they would turn out. The box instructions allow you to choose whether you will pick egg or milk and oil or butter to allow for a dairy free cookie. We chose the egg and oil combination and the oil we used was grapeseed oil. The consistency of the dough was quite sticky and it was difficult to mold the dough into a ball as suggested. There seemed to be an overabundance of chocolate chips as well. After baking them and to our surprise, they mostly stayed together and had a nice taste and texture too. The mix made 12 medium to small size cookies.

The chocolate chip cookie was invented by accident (we know), but there’s nothing accidental about these substantial, sugary handfuls with a thick outer gluten-free crust. They’re fun to eat and funner to bake.
