Crunchy Toasted Pecan Almond Flour Cookies
Add to My ListCrumbly, thick, and coin-round, the sandie is a traditional sugar cookie, often flavored with crushed pecan. Simple Mills is changing the sandie game with a gluten-free almond flour recipe, flavored with smoky coconut sugar and sweet vanilla extract, then riddled with soft, grooved pecans for rich nutty flavor and a caramel-colored crunch.

nice cookie
Nice crunchy cookies but not much pecan flavor
Tastes great!
These toasted pecan crunchy cookies tasted really good. They had a nice toasted flavor and a soft crunch. You would never know they were made with almond flour because they taste like the more popular cookies. I was able to eat four or five without feeling guilty. They paired well with almond milk and absorbed the milk like any other cookie would. These are my new go-to pecan cookies since pecan is my favorite! Great for kids and adults. They did leave a strange coating on the inside of my mouth after eating, but nothing to complain about.
It was OK
I was not too keen about these cookies. It does have great taste though. It was a bit tough for me to eat and it really is a cookie that you have to make sure that you have a lot of napkins around you. I do like how they snap. But I donít like how dry the texture is. This cookie for those that like the extra snap to their cookie and donít to much do soft cookies as I do.
Didn't care for
I didn't really care for these cookies. They didn't seem like that had very much flavor. Too bland for me. I also have to my kids. My 8 year old said she did not like them because they had pecans. My 2 year old left hers laying around and didn't finish it. I've never had anything made with almond flour, that might contribute to part of the reason I didn't like them.
Disappointing cookie
These sounded really good, but were a major disappointment. Although showing chunks of pecans in the picture, there are little to any pecan pieces. There is also very little pecan flavor at all, overall a more coconut like flavor. Although these are crunchy, they have a powdery aftertaste that is unpleasant. Not a great cookie.
