This one here is minimally-processed and uses a few simple, tasty ingredients like sea salt and crunchy almond niblets. The only problem with this bar? Every time we open it, it mysteriously disappears in just a few hours.

From farm to factory: Taza does things the right way

While visiting Oaxaca, Mexico, Alex Whitmore tasted stone ground chocolate for the first time. It was love at first bite, and he knew: he wanted in on the chocolate-making game. But as he dug into the trading and processing practices, Alex was disheartened. Cocoa trading is a booming industry, but farmers and workers at the bottom of the chain don’t feel that same financial “boom.” When Alex started Taza, he committed to transparency every step of the way. Farmers are treated as partners, and Taza shares their success by giving back to local charities.
