This chocolate bar is a little bit nutty and even more decadent and delicious. It's made with almond butter, sea salt, and locally roasted small-batch almonds—from Maisie Jane's family-owned farm in Northern California—that are then coated in a fudgy dark chocolate shell. All to create the chocolate we'd practically go nuts for.

Rethinking how we make chocolate
TCHO was born over 15 years ago out of a shared vision to reimagine the world of chocolate, from the ground up. They go beyond just purchasing cacao from origins; they also partner with farmers and invest in their resources, so they can co-create better cacao, together. TCHO makes all their chocolate at their state-of-the-art factory (like Willy Wonka, but better) in Berkeley, California, and is always looking for new ways to use their business to better the world through chocolate.
TCHO Source is TCHO's unique program for partnering with cacao producers and research institutions worldwide to create a better cacao bean, because better cacao means better chocolate and a better industry. And it's not just about the quality and taste of the cacao beans; it's how they're grown, harvested, roasted, and moved along every point along the supply chain—beginning to end and everything in between. A highlight of the TCHO Source program is the TCHO Flavor Lab, a mini bean-to-bar chocolate-making lab where farmers can take cacao beans they grow and make chocolate from them on the spot. When a partner farmer hits TCHO's high standards on quality, they pay the farmer a TCHO Quality Premium on top of the fair trade and organic premiums they already pay.
