Vanilla Rooibos Herbal Tea

Sustainable goodness
Teatulia sources most of their teas from their organic, fair trade garden in Bangladesh. Their teas are cultivated with natural farming methods, which protects the ecosystem in their garden.
Why we love it
Looking for a caffeine-free substitute for everyday tea or coffee? With rooibos tea, you won't look back. It's got a gorgeous, red-orange color, and a full bodied, nutty flavor with notes of honey and vanilla. Yep, it's good enough to stand on its own. And since it's a herbal tea with no caffeine, it's perfect for enjoying day or night.

How it does good
Sips from a single source
Most branded teas sold in supermarkets are blends of teas from different tea gardens. Teatulia Tea hails from their single garden in the Northern Bangladesh Tetulia region. It means they can control every aspect of how they treat the tea and the land it's grown on, and they can really support the people who cultivate it. And since their tea comes direct from their garden to your cup, Teatulia can keep their tea tasting fresh.
-
responsible sourcing
Teatulia's 3,000 acre tea garden is one of the largest organic tea gardens in the world. They source the bulk of their teas from this garden, and they also partner with other organic and fair trade gardens for other teas that don't grow in their Himalayan environment. -
recyclable packaging
In order to cut down on landfill waste, Teatulia tea bags are made without the extra wrappers, strings, and staples that other tea companies use. Teatulia also uses compostable and recyclable materials in their packaging. -
low carbon footprint
Teatulia has implemented natural farming practices and doesn't use pesticides, machinery, or unnatural irrigation in the cultivation of their teas. They simply let Mother Nature do the work, resulting in the total regeneration of the ecosystem in their garden. -
supporting key causes
Teatulia supports the Kazi Shahid Foundation (KSF), a dairy cooperative in Bangladesh. KSF's cattle lending program has helped countless local women send their kids to school and build better homes. Teatulia also pays for the women who work in their garden to attend school, so they can learn skills like reading, writing, and arithmetic.
How to use it

Make a rooibos tea latte with some steamed milk. Garnish with ground cinnamon and dark chocolate shavings.
When you're done...
The outer canister is curbside recyclable and the paper tea bags are home compostable. The inner plastic bag is recyclable through TerraCycle by following our special instructions.
These are general guidelines for broadly-recyclable materials. Check with your local recycler to confirm what they take.
