Habanero Horseradish Dill Pickles
Habanero Horseradish Dill Pickles
These popular, crowd-pleasing pickles play a peppery pivot, with potent horseradish, powerful garlic, and pungent habanero. Try saying that three times fast. Better yet, just eat a few.

Why we love it
Nicolas Flamel may have discovered the secret to immortality, but the alchemists at The Real Dill invented these habanero horseradish pickles, and we’re honestly not sure which is more impressive. Habaneros start fruity and end spicy, and they're combined with nose-tingling horseradish. The barest hint of sugar keeps the vinegar flavor from getting overwhelming, with a final bite more hot than sweet.
How it does good
Responsibly made, responsible values
The Real Dill knows that with great power comes great responsibility, whether that power comes from a spider bite or, say, pickles. The Denver-based company sources recognizable ingredients of the best quality to make all its products from scratch. They partner with the community development non-profit Re:Vision to compost more than 30,000 pounds of food waste, making The Real Dill zero-waste while helping promote food education in their neighborhood. They also develop new products (including their spectacularly popular Bloody Mary Mix) to repurpose unused ingredients and offer recipes to help their customers do the same. With a focused Green Team, recyclable packaging, and charitable partnerships with local organizations, they’re using their power for good. And pickles.
responsible sourcingThe Real Dill pays its lowest-paid staff members 12.2% above a living wage. They source what they can from local Colorado businesses, including beer, honey, spices, and chiles, and make all of their products in their own facility. Their Green Team and and Environmental Management System help set and reach sustainability goals.
supporting key causesThrough their Charitable Partnership Program, The Real Dill has donated over $30,000 to local nonprofits, including The GrowHaus, which provides food and food education to communities where neither are easily accessible, and Denver Food Rescue.
low carbon footprintAs a zero-waste company, they're limiting the greenhouse gas emissions that typically come with food disposal and waste. By sourcing what they can locally and making products in-house, they also cut down on transportation costs.
recyclable packagingAll of their jars, lids, and tins are curbside recyclable.
I buy and eat these pickles by the case. I think they the most delicious pickles I’ve ever eaten, so I was very disappointed with this last shipment they were mushy and not up to the quality they usually are. I don’t know if it was an old batch I hope it’s not the fact that hive controls the pickles now.
My first delivery was undeliverable per UPS My second delivery had one bottle with a. Smashed lid and all the juice had leaked out. This is a problem.
Better than expected. I'm a lover of pickles. I make my own pickles often. I pickle all types of vegetables. I prefer a spicy pickle and I also love horseradish. I'm always looking for something new not only for enjoyment but also for ideas. These Pickles are the truth. A real crisp and snap is important. No mushy pickles allowed. Flavor is only a part of the equation. This pickle hits the mark on all aspects that I consider important. The price seems a bit much at first. Once I had the first spear, (I prefer spears over whole) was eaten I felt satisfied with my purchase. I can appreciate a quality product and am willing to pay for it. Well done "The Real Dill", this is a Home Run. Congrats on an exceptional product.
These are the best pickles ever — nice and spicy, really tasty!
