How it does good
Many typical toothpastes and mouthwashes actually contain a ton of artificial sweeteners, colors, you name it. That's why Tom's of Maine offers a cleaner alternative. Since 1970, they've paved the way for natural oral care products, starting with the first natural toothpaste ever on the U.S. market. For six decades, their focus has stayed the same: providing safe, effective, natural products while giving back to the planet and the surrounding community.

Tom's of Maine
Tom's of Maine was founded by Tom and Kate Chappell in 1970, when they started looking for natural and unprocessed personal care products but came up short. All they found were labels listing artificial flavors, fragrances, colors, you name it. So they decided to create their own. By 1975, they'd introduced the first natural toothpaste on the U.S. market. Since then, Tom's of Maine continues to put their hearts into providing natural personal care products that are clean and effective.
