Dark Pecan Coconut Chocolate
1 review

Pecans and coconuts individually might make you think about pie. But together they should make you think about rich dark chocolate. Because that's where you'll find both of them this time.
Sustainable goodness
Tony's Chocolonely was founded with the goal to end forced child labor and enslavement on cocoa farms in Ghana and Ivory Coast.
Why we love it
Peanuts? Pass. Hazelnuts? Has beens. Almonds? Old news. All the other nuts have all had their hayday. It's time for them to step aside. Pecans and coconuts have hit the scene as chocolate's new nutty friends. Bringing crunch, sweetness, and richness together into one beautiful bar is tough to do, but Tony's has done it.

How it does good
Investing in a better future for all people
Across cocoa supply chains, things are not happening fairly. In fact, they're downright unethical, and Tony's Chocolonely is not afraid to call it out. Chocolate is enjoyed all around the globe, but the regions producing cocoa are subject to poverty and forced labor due to the demand to keep cocoa purchasing prices as low as possible for big chocolate distributors. Tony's is leading by example to do things differently. They're using 100% traceable beans, paying higher prices for their cocoa, and building strong relationships with their farmers in an effort balance the system. The fight to do good doesn't stop there though. Tony's also uses sustainable practices on their farms to protect the rainforest and improve agricultureal ecology.
