Not all tortilla chips are created equal. With their traditional tortilla-first process and special blend of corn, Zack’s Mighty is on a quest to help revive flint corn, an almost-lost variety that grew all across the Northeastern U.S. from roughly 1,000 A.D. up through the early 20th century. As they continue the work to rebuild this unique supply chain, Zack’s Mighty partners with farms in the Northeast to plant a corn variety known as Otto File. And they’re the only brand making tortilla chips from a unique blend of organic yellow dent corn and organic yellow flint corn.
Zack’s Mighty owes the flavor of their chips to heirloom flint corn and the growing network of organic farms they source from. For oil, they source organic canola oil and organic sunflower oil; both expeller pressed which means that they were extracted through pressure as opposed to a chemical solvent. For salt, they source sea salt from the salt ponds along the San Francisco Bay. For their culinary lime, a.k.a. calcium hydroxide, they source from a mine in St. Genevieve, MO, home to one of the purest limestone deposits in North America.Learn More

These are the best corn tortilla chips! Your shipping was super fast and I appreciate that. Unfortunately, the box was overstuffed with too many bags of chips for the box size, so A LOT of the chips are broken. Please reconsider your packaging process in the future. I use these chips primarily for nachos, and when they arrive broken, I can’t use them.
