Perfect for Stink-less Compost
I really love these things. We got one at my parent's house after a long struggle with fruit flies in a countertop bin, and then I bought two of them for my office. I just bought a new house and was ready to start my compost pile, so I knew I needed one of these. Keeping compost scraps in the freezer is the best for making sure it doesn't get smelly or attract insects, and the soft silicone makes it possible to get all the frozen scraps out, even when they freeze into one big hunk. I dumped some excess sourdough starter into the bottom of this last week, which froze into a solid layer on the bottom, but the flexibility allowed me to turn it completely inside out to empty it.

Wish it were a little bigger!
I love this container for keeping my compost. I live in a big city so freezer is the only way for me to compost. I put a compostable bag in it and hang it on the sides of my drawers all the time. My only wish is that it were a little bigger so it would fit all of my compost for the week. I normally fill it up twice per week.

If this had a lid...
I would have purchased two. We're looking for something for use on our boat, and it's perfect in every way except the lack of a lid to put over it in case we can't dump our food scraps because we're too close to land.
