After an exciting first year of operations, it’s finally here: our inaugural Impact Report. We’ve come a long way in a short amount of time, and we’re thrilled to share the progress that our community has made. We didn’t do it alone–our Hive team members, customers, brand partners, and advisors have all been essential to this journey. And we’re not done yet.
The years since the pandemic began have not been easy for anyone, and it’s been a particularly challenging time to launch a business. But we had an idea, and we didn’t want to wait around for a chance to build something great. So, despite the obstacles, we moved ahead to create a remarkable marketplace of goods that not only have a low impact on the environment, but actively help to make the world a better place. Who knew grocery shopping could be so good? Well, YOU did, and your support and dedication helped us to make our vision for Hive a reality.
With over 250 brands and 2,000+ products represented on our site, we’ve managed to touch so many people all over the world working in the global food system, throughout all kinds of supply chains. We’ve set a new standard for sustainable grocery, helping entice shoppers to never settle for anything but the absolute best, from ingredient integrity to packaging and everything in between.
Inside our report, you’ll find a breakdown of the current state of retail and Hive’s role in it, the amazing work that our brands are doing in their communities, statistics on our carbon footprint mitigation efforts, and our goals for the future. We are committed to progress over perfection, which means continuing to improve wherever possible, and bringing our Hive community along with us every step of the way.
