White Leaf Provisions works with certified Biodynamic® farmers who practice regenerative agriculture. Biodynamic farming focuses on creating the conditions for optimal soil and plant health. These practices may also reduce the overall amount and bioavailability of heavy metals. White Leaf chooses to use ingredients that have a lower risk of heavy metal uptake, while avoiding some higher risk ingredients. White Leaf Provisions' products do not contain ingredients on Hive's No Good, Dirty Rotten list of banned and watch list ingredients.
White Leaf takes hidden toxins very seriously - they test every batch they produce for heavy metals and other contaminants, and their ingredient suppliers test many of their ingredients as well. They ensure they are in compliance with CA Prop 65. White Leaf Provisions’ Biodynamic® farmers practice no-till farming and cover crops, which limit water waste and reverse some of the impacts of erosion and climate change.
White Leaf's packaging is BPA, BPS, BP, and BPF as well as Phthalate free.

How it does good
As industrial farming tries to feed more and more people, its techniques become more and more destructive. Organic farming is a step in the right direction, but family-run White Leaf Provisions is taking things even further. Inspired by their background in an Irish farming village where working with the environment was the norm, they're Demeter-certified as Biodynamic®;, which means they're improving farming practices and farmland, not just damaging them less. By introducing cover crops, grazing, and sections of land just for pollinators, they're acting in the environments' best interest, keeping it safe and healthy for future generations. The result is pure, organic, GMO-free baby food that you and your child can feel good about.

When founders Meghan and Keith had their first son, their story with White Leaf Provisions began. They felt great responsibility to be completely aware of what they were giving to their child to eat, but were finding that there was not a trusting range of options. They were all brands that were either harmful to their baby, the planet, or both. White Leaf Provisions strives to create a solution to that and supply trusted baby food.
