Good, but too hard to chew

Love having a gluten free black licorice to eat! But--it is so hard! It wasn't really chewy, it was like it was stale and turned too hard! Loved the flavor and ate it anyway, but sure wish it was easier to eat and chew! Really don't think I'll buy it again and hope to find something with as good a flavor and without HF Corn Syrup and is gluten free.
