How it does good

We use soaps and cleansers to wash our bodies, but that doesn't mean they're inherently clean. Many ingredients lists include non-renewable petrochemicals and carcinogens, which can do serious harm to our environment when they're disposed of. Non-chemical resources, like palm oil, also cause problems when irresponsible harvesting leads to deforestation. With all this in mind, Zum set out to create a new kind of line. In their Kansas City-based factory, they're cooking up cruelty-free, vegetarian cosmetics using natural, custom-blended oils, minerals, and milks. You'll never find parabens or phthalates in their stuff. They're dedicated to sustainably sourced bath and body products with short supply chains and ingredients that keep your body and the earth clean.

How to Use

Spritz dryer balls with the included aroma blend and toss them in with any laundry load—from delicate undies to bed sheets.

Recycling

Good news! The paper packaging is 100% curbside recyclable.

These are general guidelines for broadly-recyclable materials. Check with your local recycler to confirm what they take.

Zum

Since being female-founded in 1996, the Zum crew has been creating plant-packed products from their home base of Kansas City, Missouri. With a focus on natural good, they never include parabens, phthalates, or detergents in any of their body and home lines. And spreading their passion for aromatherapy, Zum infuses their products with aromatic essential oils and natural ingredients you can say, spell, and love to smell. Now, take a deep whiff.

Love them!

I am learning and teaching my family the benifits of using nontoxic products. These have been a hit especially when my husband thought they were cat toys...

As usual, another excellent product from Hive!

I started using wool dryer balls about 2 years ago. I had been purchasing them from another company and was pleasantly surprised with the results. Then, when I found Hive, I saw that they carry this product and thought I would give them a try since the others were finally wearing out. Wow! The other product worked fine but these truly are exceptional. Plus, the essential oil that they include their product is just the best. I had been using an essential oil with the other companies dryer balls but I always had to pay extra for them. For the same price I'm getting a better product plus a better scent. I highly recommend Hives Balls! 😁😁

The balls are good sized but there's no instructions on how much spray to apply to the wool, the sent is very strong

Superior to dryer sheets in every way!

I love sheep's wool balls because they're compostable after you're done with them, and they last forever! I do loads every two weeks, and my old dryer balls still leave my laundry silky smooth. Sometimes I don't even add the oils, because i think the natural smell has a nice earthiness to it! I'll choose this over artificially scented dryer sheets any day!
