Peanut butter might be a pro with a world record, but almond butter’s the rookie rising up the ranks. A little nuttier, a little richer, a little stronger, this spread is as craveable as it is smooth.

From the Bible to Egyptian pharaohs, almonds have long been regarded as a little divine. Maybe that’s why there’s been such a mad dash after deliciously savory almond butter. The only thing added to this simple spread after roasting is sea salt, making for a smooth, dappled butter fit for a king's kitchen. The only thing closer to pure almond flavor is, well, almonds.

Georgia Grinders is dedicated to cutting out environmentally impactful oils and forming personal relationships with their farmers.

Committing to clean ingredients for people and planet

It’s hard to imagine a pantry without nut butter, but this simple snack isn’t always made with simplicity, or the environment, in mind. In fact, many nuts butters are made with palm oil, known for increasing deforestation and animal endangerment. Founded with cardiovascular health in mind, Georgia Grinders’ mission to use truly simple, high-quality ingredients also promotes environmental health by cutting out palm oil and paying attention to their farmers' sustainability practices. Being vertically integrated allows them to be present for each part of the production process, so they can provide handcrafted, small-batch nut butters, made cleanly. What they don’t get from the US, they source from Red River Foods, an international supplier dedicated to sustainable supply chains.
