The ultimate classic, this creamy peanut butter is as unpretentious as it gets, with just two ingredients. But the salty-smoky flavor and grainy-smooth texture of slow-roasted nuts is anything but simple.

From PB&Js to peanut butter porters, creamy, melt-in-your-mouth peanut butter is an undeniable staple, thanks to its velvety texture and salty-sweet flavor. This slow-roasted, hand-crafted recipe folds around each scoop of your spoon, its speckled surface curling and cresting, for a familiar flavor that doesn't need oil, sugar, or preservatives. Or jelly. Or bread. Or anything else.

Ingredient Integrity

Georgia Grinders is proud to maintain relationships with their farmers, hand-selected based on sustainable production practices and food safety procedures. They source almonds, peanuts, and pecans from the US, and cashews and hazelnuts internationally. Georgia Grinders' products do not contain ingredients on Hive's No Good, Dirty Rotten list of banned and watch list ingredients.

Responsible Production

Georgia Grinders oversees every step in the production process to guarantee quality, freshness and flavor in each jar. Only nut butters are produced in our manufacturing facility, implementing the highest food safety standards at all times. Georgia Grinders tests their products for mycotoxins and their suppliers test for pesticide residues.

Clean Packaging

They are invested in packaging their products in reusable and recyclable materials using glass jars and metal lids to avoid waste wherever feasible.

Leading Change

In addition to donating to food banks and charitable auctions in its community, Georgia Grinders partners with three distinct organizations. The Night of Hope Gala offers funds and resources to people affected by ALS, The Giving Kitchen supports struggling Atlanta restaurants, and the DeKalb County School System's Special Education Department provides young adults with job skills and training.

How it does good

It's hard to imagine a pantry without nut butter, but this simple snack isn't always made with simplicity, or the environment, in mind. In fact, many nuts butters are made with palm oil, known for increasing deforestation and animal endangerment. Founded with cardiovascular health in mind, Georgia Grinders' mission to use truly simple, high-quality ingredients also promotes environmental health by cutting out palm oil and paying attention to their farmers' sustainability practices. Being vertically integrated allows them to be present for each part of the production process, so they can provide handcrafted, small-batch nut butters, made cleanly. What they don't get from the US, they source from Red River Foods, an international supplier dedicated to sustainable supply chains.

How to Use

Addicted to chocolate and peanut butter? Us too. Try spreading this on freshly baked brownies or, if you're feeling fancy, make a brownie batter sandwich around a peanut butter-flour spread, then bake.

Recycling

The glass jar and metal lid are curbside recyclable once rinsed and separated. The plastic freshness seal can be sent to TerraCycle by following our special instructions.

These are general guidelines for broadly-recyclable materials. Check with your local recycler to confirm what they take.
