Tony's Chocolonely

White chocolate technically isn't chocolate. But this one is good enough to make you forget that fact. Sprinkled with crunchy candies that pop in each bite, this bar is in a category all its own.

Sustainable goodness

Tony's Chocolonely was founded with the goal to end forced child labor and enslavement on cocoa farms in Ghana and Ivory Coast.

Why we love it

Think back to the days in your childhood when you considered cotton candy a food group. What would that sweets-loving kid dream up as a chocolate bar? We think white chocolate with raspberry popping candy might be pretty close. It crunches, it cracks, and it tastes like...well, candy. In the land where whimsy meets good enough for a grown-up, you'll find this young-at-heart sweet treat.

How it does good

Investing in a better future for all people

Across cocoa supply chains, things are not happening fairly. In fact, they're downright unethical, and Tony's Chocolonely is not afraid to call it out. Chocolate is enjoyed all around the globe, but the regions producing cocoa are subject to poverty and forced labor due to the demand to keep cocoa purchasing prices as low as possible for big chocolate distributors. Tony's is leading by example to do things differently. They're using 100% traceable beans, paying higher prices for their cocoa, and building strong relationships with their farmers in an effort balance the system. The fight to do good doesn't stop there though. Tony's also uses sustainable practices on their farms to protect the rainforest and improve agricultural ecology.

  • responsible sourcing

On top of everything else they do, they've paid the Walk Free Foundation and Tulane University to research their value chain for any possibilities of forced labor or exploitation. They are constantly working to maintain their high standards and achieve something better for everyone.
  • supporting key causes

Tony's Chocolonely is a committed advocate for human rights. In addition to all of the hard work they're doing to end slave labor in the cocoa industry, they also work with their farms for at least 5 years to ensure longer term success for their farmers.
  • low carbon footprint

Tony's offsets their carbon emissions through Justdiggit.
  • recyclable packaging

Fairtrade Chocolate with a great taste!

My kids love white chocolate and Tony's White raspberry is number one on the list. Thick chunks of white chocolate with a twist of raspberry make this very hard to resist!
