Why We Love It
Be ready for anything with a hand sanitizer that kills germs with only four ingredients: organic ethyl alcohol, organic lavender oil, organic glycerin, and water. So, you can kiss sticky hands goodbye without any help from weird chemicals or fragrances. It's the easy way to sanitize with a clean conscience. And a pleasant smelling one at that. Our favorite part? This sanitizer dries quickly and doesn't leave behind any unpleasant filiminess on your hands.

Ingredient Integrity
Bronner’s has created or partnered with fair trade and organic projects all over the world.
This means they are actively partnering with their supplier farmers and working to improve the communities in which they operate, including ensuring fair wages and ethical treatment for employees.
Additionally, they choose to source their cocoa from organic, fair trade and regenerative smallholder projects in Ghana and Ivory Coast because soils in those countries contain lower levels of naturally present heavy metals.
Dr.
Bronner's' products do not contain ingredients on Hive's No Good, Dirty Rotten list of banned and watch list ingredients. -
Responsible Production
Bronner's is 100% renewably-powered and their goal is to become climate positive by 2025, plastic neutral by 2023, and a Zero Waste business (i.
e.
less than 1% of waste going to landfill) by 2023.
Their products are also tested to ensure levels in finished products are well below safety guidelines.
Dr.
Bronner's does not test their soap products for contaminants.
They do test their chocolate products for heavy metals. -
Clean Packaging
Bronner's exclusively uses 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles, half of which comes from plastic collected in curbside recycling programs Most of the plastic picked up on curbsides is “downcycled” and shipped to countries like China, where it’s used to create synthetic fabrics for carpets and clothes, then shipped back to the United States for sale.
Dr.
Bronner's "bottle-to-bottle" recycling helps to close the loop and results in fewer greenhouse gas emissions. -
Leading Change
Bronner’s donates roughly 1/3 of their profits to charitable and activist.
Their giving spans the globe through their All-One International initiative and in partnership with the Rodale Institute and Patagonia, they established the Regenerative Organic Alliance and created the Regenerative Organic Certification standard. -

Dr. Bronner's
Known for their iconic labels and cultish following, household name Dr. Bronner’s was founded in 1948 by Emanuel Bronner, a third-generation master soapmaker and activist. He used the labels to spread the message of our transcendent unity across religious & ethnic divides: “We are All-One or None!” Still family-owned and run, Dr. Bronner’s honors their founder’s vision by making socially & environmentally responsible products of the highest quality—and by dedicating their profits to help make a better world.
Shop BrandDear Hive I give this to a friend of mine and she loves it. She is not always available to soap and water. Thanks for asking Paula Barone
This brand is not easy to find, but I was so happy to find HIVE. Easy to order, no problems at all.
