How it does good
Treating the earth like home
Dr. Bronner’s is fighting for a marketplace where consumers are not misled into purchasing synthetic-laden products masquerading as certified organic personal care. Emanuel Bronner, the man behind the brand, believed that a company has a responsibility to “Share the profits with the workers and the earth from which you made it!” His son Ralph called this approach Constructive Capitalism and they practice it in every aspect of their business—from the products they make, throughout their supply chains, to their dedicated activism and charitable giving, and more.
A certified B-Corp, Dr. Bronner’s has created or partnered with fair trade and organic projects all over the world. They build personal relationships with organic farmers and producers to create equitable supply chains. This includes fair prices for farmers, living wages and excellent working conditions for workers, investment in communities, and respect for land and people. As a company with numerous certifications related to environmental and social impact, they work with suppliers who have the same certifications or hold similar values, and for some like USDA Organic, it's a requirement.
Learn MoreDr. Bronner’s donates roughly 1/3 of their profits to charitable and activist causes including regenerative organic agriculture, animal advocacy, and criminal justice reform. Their giving spans the globe through their All-One International initiative, which focuses on philanthropy and advocacy outside of the United States. And in partnership with the Rodale Institute and Patagonia, they established the Regenerative Organic Alliance and created the Regenerative Organic Certification standard.
Learn MoreDr. Bronner's is 100% renewably-powered and their goal is to become climate positive by 2025, plastic neutral by 2023, and a Zero Waste business (i.e. less than 10% of waste going to landfill) by 2023.
Learn MoreDr. Bronner’s uses 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) polyethylene (PET) plastic bottles for almost all of their liquid and pump soaps. In fact, they pioneered these bottles in the personal care industry. Dr. Bronner's also uses 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) wrappers for all of their bar soaps and widely recyclable tins for their magic balms!

About the Brand
Dr. Bronner's
Known for their iconic labels and cultish following, household name Dr. Bronner’s was founded in 1948 by Emanuel Bronner, a third-generation master soapmaker and activist. He used the labels to spread the message of our transcendent unity across religious & ethnic divides: “We are All-One or None!” Still family-owned and run, Dr. Bronner’s honors their founder’s vision by making socially & environmentally responsible products of the highest quality—and by dedicating their profits to help make a better world.
Shop Brand*How to use
Apply to dry, chapped skin anywhere on your body. For tattoo care, wash your tattoo with one of Dr. Bronner's castile or bar soaps, then pat the area dry and apply a thin layer of magic balm over the tattoo.

Great, lip balm in a tin and not a plastic tube. It’s bigger then I thought. Great value.

Patty Schniers
So great to have lip balm in a tin. A little bit big but great value.

Face eczema life saver
This is the best/only thing for my son's eczema on his face. We put it on his eye lids and around his lips two times a day and his skin stays clear. We also use it for dry lips and they are always better the next day.
