Why We Love It
There's a reason why Dr. Bronner's is a household name. Made with organic and certified fair trade ingredients like organic hemp oil, their peppermint soap is a must-have for mint-ifying your shower and household chores. And true to the brand's All-One! spirit, you can literally use this for everything and anything: face, body, hair, dishes, laundry, pets, and more. Thanks to its super concentrated formula, a little goes a long way so feel free to dilute (the liquid to lather ratio is out of this world).

Ingredient Integrity
Bronner’s has created or partnered with fair trade and organic projects all over the world.
This means they are actively partnering with their supplier farmers and working to improve the communities in which they operate, including ensuring fair wages and ethical treatment for employees.
Additionally, they choose to source their cocoa from organic, fair trade and regenerative smallholder projects in Ghana and Ivory Coast because soils in those countries contain lower levels of naturally present heavy metals.
Dr.
Bronner's' products do not contain ingredients on Hive's No Good, Dirty Rotten list of banned and watch list ingredients. -
Responsible Production
Bronner's is 100% renewably-powered and their goal is to become climate positive by 2025, plastic neutral by 2023, and a Zero Waste business (i.
e.
less than 1% of waste going to landfill) by 2023.
Their products are also tested to ensure levels in finished products are well below safety guidelines.
Dr.
Bronner's does not test their soap products for contaminants.
They do test their chocolate products for heavy metals. -
Clean Packaging
Bronner's exclusively uses 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles, half of which comes from plastic collected in curbside recycling programs Most of the plastic picked up on curbsides is “downcycled” and shipped to countries like China, where it’s used to create synthetic fabrics for carpets and clothes, then shipped back to the United States for sale.
Dr.
Bronner's "bottle-to-bottle" recycling helps to close the loop and results in fewer greenhouse gas emissions. -
Leading Change
Bronner’s donates roughly 1/3 of their profits to charitable and activist.
Their giving spans the globe through their All-One International initiative and in partnership with the Rodale Institute and Patagonia, they established the Regenerative Organic Alliance and created the Regenerative Organic Certification standard. -

Learn MoreHow to Use
You can literally use this soap for everything and anything: face, body, hair, dishes, laundry, pets, and more. For facial cleansing, use 2 or 3 drops on to wet hands and lather away. For laundry, use 1/3-1/2 cup of soap for a large load in a normal washer. For even more ideas, check out Lisa Bronner's Dilutions Cheat Sheet.
Recycling
Rinse and recycle the bottle in your curbside bin. The cap is recyclable via TerraCycle.
These are general guidelines for broadly-recyclable materials. Check with your local recycler to confirm what they take.
Third Party Certifications
Dr. Bronner's
Known for their iconic labels and cultish following, household name Dr. Bronner’s was founded in 1948 by Emanuel Bronner, a third-generation master soapmaker and activist. He used the labels to spread the message of our transcendent unity across religious & ethnic divides: “We are All-One or None!” Still family-owned and run, Dr. Bronner’s honors their founder’s vision by making socially & environmentally responsible products of the highest quality—and by dedicating their profits to help make a better world.
Shop BrandI like this product, but I have enough of it and would like to cancel the automatic shipments of it. I have enough to last several years at this point
I love it. I can’t live without it and it makes me feel very sparkling clean.
I couldn’t say what I think of the product because the product was all spilled out in the boxes. Despite several out reaches to hive the caps or the product were never replaced. Goodbye hive. My first order is my last order
I’ve used this soap for a few years and really love the fragrance. It’s also good to know it has healthy ingredients that won’t harm the environment.
