Love Grown's bringing beans to the breakfast table, adding a much needed boost of protein to your morning (afternoon, or midnight) cereal fix. Brown rice flour makes for a classically crumbly texture while the neutrally-flavored beans throw in a slight nutty taste and 4 grams of plant protein in every bowlful.

How it does good

We might know breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but between busy schedules, bland flavors, and preservative-packed ingredients lists, our days don't always start as mindfully, or as tastily, as we'd like. Noticing the lack of nutritious, dairy- and gluten-free options for kids, the husband-and-wife team behind Love Grown began adapting family recipes for an audience. They've since introduced a line of vegan, non-GMO cereals that give eaters of all ages a wholesome, convenient, and delicious option stuffed with plant protein to start their day off on the right foot. Love Grown knows it's never too late to start eating clean, and every food revolution starts with a good breakfast.

Love Grown was founded in 2008 by Maddy and Alex Hasulak, both students at the University of Denver. They wanted to make breakfast healthy again, using simple ingredients, with more protein and fiber, and less sugar. In addition to making delicious, healthy foods, they also led a school outreach program to teach children about nutrition.

In 2023 Hive partnered with the brand to keep their delicious, vegan, gluten-free & Non-GMO cereals in your pantry. Growing two brands together, for the better.
