United StatesThese have same microplastics problem as pods
The Unscented Company wraps each of these laundry tablets in their own plastic pouch. The box says not to take the tablets out of the pouches because the pouches will dissolve. That is not a good idea...just like laundry pods, the plastic pouches would dissolve into microplastics in our water system, which are generally not removable in our water treatment plants. The microplastics then enter our water and food supply. I see no reason for these tablets from The Unscented Company to be wrapped in plastic. I removed the plastic before putting the tablets in the washer (without touching the tablets). Blueland's laundry tablets are not wrapped in plastic pouches.
