How it does good
Jar Goods is out to disrupt things with a buyer-focused mission that expands sauce uses and leaves out artificial ingredients. Getting started with an old family recipe, they were selected for the Chobani Food Incubator in 2016. This bolstered their goal to improve the future of the food industry by making things more intuitive, more affordable, and better for the environment. They work with an organic co-packer and, even as a small business, have their eye on giving back to nature-focused nonprofits that benefit real people and the land that makes their food. The sauce aisle will never be the same.

Jule's Tomato Sauce
Jule's Tomato Sauce is a family recipe that made Jule's restaurant in Jersey City, NJ a classic "red sauce joint" for over 40 years. Laura & John wanted a jarred, wholesome tomato sauce that was good enough to serve on everything, but they couldn't find anything that measured up on the grocery store shelves. So they began by bottling their father's tomato sauce by hand and selling it at farmers markets. They believe in the idea of Better Food for More People, learned during their year with the Chobani Incubator program, and are working to help busy people who don't have time to cook from scratch by creating high quality convenient options.
