Fruits and nuts are grown all around the world. Paying careful attention to the source of these ingredients should be a top priority for brands. And for Shār it is. The Climate Neutral Certified company uses only small-batch, responsibly sourced organic ingredients. They consider themselves "earth-first" because they make sure to think about the planet in all of their practices. Like using 100% compostable bamboo cones for sampling. They also package their trail mix in a recyclable, refillable tube that is totally plastic-free. And that's not all, as members of the Conservation Alliance they've pledged 20% of their annual net profits to the organization as ongoing support.

Shār
Shār (say it like care, or bear, or you know, share) was founded by Peter Rushford. Peter set out to create a healthy, delicious and ethical snack back in 2013 and we’re so glad he did. Sourcing his nine nuts, fruit and chocolate chips from organic, small-batch and responsibly sourced producers, Peter carries this commitment through to his plastic-free packaging. And he donates 20% of net profits to the Conservation Alliance.
