How it does good
Every year, an estimated 400 million toothpaste tubes are discarded in the U.S., and at least 1.5 billion on a global scale. And with most of them made out of plastic, those tubes need 500 years to degrade. Unpaste wants to change that with their zero-waste toothpaste tablets. They replace potential waste generated by conventional toothpaste, and unlike plastic tubes, they're packaged in compostable packets that can also break down in your backyard.

I was excited to try these tablets in hopes of no longer using plastic toothpaste tubes (so wasteful!!) After using several times, with my electric and regular toothbrushes, I'm thrilled with the result. The tablets are tiny (about the size of a child size chewable aspirin?) so I was surprised that they provide enough toothpaste. I chewed a few times and then brushed it around. Very effective, and great flavor. I like the cinnamon a lot, and also ordered the mint so will try that next! I'm excited to keep one more thing out of landfills..... :)

We love this toothpaste and have been using it for almost a year now. I'm happy to see that Hive is carrying it. It's not as foamy as the Huppy brand, but these still work great and are more cost effective.
