How it does good
Every year, an estimated 400 million toothpaste tubes are discarded in the U.S., and at least 1.5 billion on a global scale. And with most of them made out of plastic, those tubes need 500 years to degrade. Unpaste wants to change that with their zero-waste toothpaste tablets. They replace potential waste generated by conventional toothpaste, and unlike plastic tubes, they're packaged in compostable packets that can also break down in your backyard.
