Eleni Gianopulos came to New York City in 1986 to fulfill her dream of becoming a dessertrepeneur. She started with one recipe: her mom's tried-and-true oatmeal raisin cookie. From there, she began rolling out gourmet goodies from the kitchen of her tiny apartment on the Upper East Side. Today, Eleni's is a beloved New York City bakery that continues to offer fresh, nut-free treats like their celebrated Crisp Cookies.
