How it does good
The story starts with ingredients
Tea and spices can be high risk categories when it comes to traceability and origin. DONA is working toward 100% single origin or directly traded ingredients, and they're committed to doing more for transparency in the spice industry. They deal directly with farmers in collectives across the globe to ensure the people who grow their ingredients are paid fairly. Plus, they divert over 400 gallons of food scraps a week from landfills by sending them to McEnroe Farm in New York for composting.

Love it mixed with half a cup of oat or macadamia milk. Great flavor and not too sweet.

I'm a very picky person, especially when it comes to my chai. It's too sweet, too "manufactured" or too spicy. Once I went DONA, I couldn't go back. It's honestly the perfect balance between spice and sweetness. You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients and now I feel like I have my own barista in the kitchen. It couldn't be easier to make a hot or cold latte. And, what makes it even sweeter, I don't have to waste paper cups. The beautiful glass container looks great on my shelf and is fully recyclable. If you're a chai-lover, I highly recommend this (and the turmeric one too!).
