Mavuno Harvest

Mavuno Harvest looks out for the small family farms in sub-Saharan Africa while bringing organic dried fruits to you. While serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in a tiny village in Kenya called Miti Mingi, founder Phil Hughes wanted to find a way that provided jobs and economic opportunity for rural farmers and solved the issue of harvests that they don't sell. By drying fruits that would have otherwise gone to waste, Mavuno Harvest opens new markets, creates jobs for the local community, and extends the prosperity of the food supply.

Good dessert

We love fruit or dried fruit especially for dessert. These are surprising, I thought they'd be chips that were crunchy and hard but they're like a fruit snack chew texture. But they're really good, a sleeper hit for sure. My kids pack them away any time I let them at em. And since they're organic and no sugar added I don't mind doing that whenever we're low on fresh fruit or they're craving a treat!

Great product, great company!

I love these bananas! They’re a healthy option that tastes great, there’s no added sugar or preservatives and they’re organic! The fact that they’re fair trade is a real bonus. I first bought a single bag just to try them, now I’m buying them by the case and enjoying them as my go-to snack! I made a mistake on a recent order and when I contacted the seller for help I found that they also provide excellent customer service. What more could I ask! 😊
