Baby's bottoms might be the benchmark in softness, but that doesn't mean your little ones don't need a little moisture help. Jojoba esters are similar to the oils produced naturally by skin, and they're used alongside berry wax and pomegranate antioxidants to protect and soothe baby's sensitive areas. Rich and smooth but never greasy, you can try this balm on your lips and elbows for a moisture boost of your own.

Ingredients

Squalane, Hydroxystearic/Linolenic/Oleic Polyglycerides, Jojoba Esters, Rhus Verniciflua Peel Cera, Glyceryl Behenate/Eicosadioate, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Sterols, Tocopherol (Vitamin E)

How it does good

Between infants' heightened sensitivity and our country's limited regulation of personal care products, baby skincare can be a headache parents don't need. Throw in issues like deforestation, animal cruelty, and unsustainable sourcing, and it becomes difficult to protect the earth while protecting your newborn. Pipette is out to change that, blacklisting over 2,000 items suspected to cause personal or environmental harm. Their own hypoallergenic ingredients lists are tested by dermatologists, pediatricians, and biologists (not animals), and fronted by squalane, a sugarcane-based moisturizer inspired by what babies already produce. Pipette has committed to sourcing clean, holistic ingredients, and all their products are EWG Verified and certified vegan and cruelty-free.

It's OK

Seems like a better alternative to Vaseline. It also seems to rub off easily, limiting its ability to soothe rough or rashy skin. Not my favorite Pipette product.

Love it

Excellent. It heals and protects beautifully, is so gentle, and feels like silk. It's helping with my daughter's eczema, and I have found multiple uses for it.

So great!

We have been using this for my 9 month old's rash on his cheeks (both from drool & eczema at times) and it works so much better for us than Aquaphor. I love that it's all natural. It truly seems to heal his skin whereas I felt like Vaseline/Aquaphor clogged his pores and was irritating. We've been using this for about 2 months and will continue to buy it!
