For something as natural as a period, much of the world still stigmatizes menstruation. In fact, up to 500 million menstruating humans are globally living in period poverty each month. Led by their mission to restore menstrual dignity and cultivate a world where anyone can access safe and natural products, Rael distributes period essentials to those who need it most and supports menstruation education with their partners. How to Use

Their story starts with three women with a shared vision of empowering menstruating people to have healthier relationships with their cycle. In 2017, Aness An, a journalist and best-selling author, Binna Won, an architect-turned-art-director, and Yanghee Paik, a former movie distributor at Walt Disney Studios with a Harvard MBA, came together in their frustrations at the lack of clean, effective period care in the U.S. Originally from South Korea, the trio brought together organic cotton from Texas and cutting-edge manufacturing technology in Korea to create their own line of period care.
