Sustainable goodness
Celebrating the magic of bees, Waxing Kara brings nourishing goods from the hive, from delicious honey to soothing soaps.
Why we love it
There's nothing better than a good soak in the bathtub after a long day. Packed with Dead Sea and Epsom salts, and combined with lavender buds, this bath soak rejuvenates your muscles and soothes your skin. There's no artificial fragrances, just the fresh scent of sweet-smelling lavender harvested straight from the farm.

How it does good
For the happiness of the hive
Honey bee populations in the U.S. have declined drastically in the past decade. That’s why Waxing Kara took a section of their Kent Island farm and replaced previously planted cash crops with indigenous species. Now, these native wildflower files provide a space for bees to thrive and be happy.
-
responsible sourcing
Waxing Kara sources lavender buds from their Kent Island farm, and their cruelty-free bath soak is also free of phthalates, parabens, sulfates, and artificial colors, and fragrances. -
recyclable packaging
Waxing Kara uses glass and plastic in their packaging. Their jars and lids are recyclable and reusable. -
low carbon footprint
At least 40 acres of Waxing Kara's farmland grow indigenous plants that bees love. They've also replanted the waterfront areas of their farm so that native crustaceans and birds can flourish too. -
supporting key causes
Waxing Kara donates a portion of their profits to different organizations that improve the lives of children in underserved communities. They also work closely with ecologists and environmental agencies to rebuild ecosystems and protect honeybees.
How to use it

Run warm water in a tub and melt 2-6 tablespoons in the bathwater. Settle in with a good book, or maybe your favorite podcast. For best results, rinse off in a cool shower afterwards.
When you're done...
Good news! The plastic jar and lid, once separated, are 100% curbside recyclable.
These are general guidelines for broadly-recyclable materials. Check with your local recycler to confirm what they take.
