How it does good
Making food waste as good as over
Bare Bones was founded by a chef with two goals: eat healthier and combat food waste. When he noticed how many bones get tossed in the trash each day, he knew he had his in. Bare Bones creates their nourishing stocks using thousands of pounds of discarded bones from organic farms. Rather than cooking with a gas fire, they cook with steam, a source that uses less energy. They’ve also found a way to create shelf stable broths without preservatives, so they never have to be refrigerated. These simple swaps and turning “trash” into treasure can inspire us all to pitch in for our planet.
The bones that make up this broth are sourced from local and national free-range, organic ranches that are recognized by the Global Animal Partnership for treating their livestock humanely.Learn More

About the Brand
The founder of Bare Bones, Ryan Harvey, learned a lot about food during his time as a chef. But for him personally, his relationship with food has always been shaped by his focus on health. So when it came time to consider how to make the most basic parts of a meal better for our bodies, Ryan turned to making stock—a foundational ingredient in most cooking. Bare Bones was born to embody and honor the tradition of stock making while cutting absolutely no corners.Shop Brand

Not Much Flavor
I got this because the reviews were so good but I found it to not have much flavor. There's also more sodium than i would have thought. Probably good if you use as soup base but super bland if you just want to sip for health benefits.
Finally!! An organic, pasture raised bone broth that isn’t too expensive AND comes in a container you can dispose of responsibly!!! I can’t comment on the taste bc I always add my broths to a soup or gravy, but that soup or gravy always comes out tasting great with this. Now I don’t have to make my own!!!!! I’m grateful!!
Good quality and nice flavor.
