The Clif Family operates over 90 acres of vineyards and 10 acres of vegetable, fruit and olive orchards, all of which are certified Organic by CCOF, which mandates the responsible management of lands without the use of synthetic fertilizers or harmful, persistent pesticides. Their vineyards are certified by Napa Green Vineyards for prioritizing that prioritizes climate action, regenerative farming, and social equity within sustainable winegrowing. They source their produce and specialty food ingredients from organic partners, keeping small farms in business and their land free from chemicals. Clif Family Napa Valley's products do not contain ingredients on Hive's No Good, Dirty Rotten list of banned and watch list ingredients.
All of Clif Family's facilities and vineyards operate on 100% renewable electricity, sourced either through the MCE Deep Green renewables program or via on-site solar panels. Their Organic Preserve Kitchen is a zero waste facility. Clif Family Napa Valley tests their products for allergens and mycotoxins.
Clif Family Kitchen's honey and jam packaging is zero waste: every jar is fully recyclable. Their nut pouches, which are standard for this type of product, are recyclable through TerraCycle.

They support their staff with monthly wellness stipends and educational opportunities, and support their society at large by donating money and time every year. Clif Family works with USDA and California Certified Organic Farms to ensure their products, and those they source, are grown organically and respectfully, and their Solar Grown™; honey supports native flora, promoting the survival of bees and other pollinators currently at risk. They're always aspiring to do more, with plans to improve the recyclability of their packaging and their estates' growth of diverse plants.
