How it does good
NYC’s last dairy goes plant-based
Dairy production often leads to food waste and negative environmental impacts, not to mention questions about chemical additives and animal welfare. With this in mind, Henry Schwartz reinvented his family dairy, in business for just shy of a century, as a maker of plant-based dairy alternatives. Elmhurst 1925 began with its distinctive HydroRelease™ process, which crafts nutrient-rich, nut, grain, and seed-based milks using only water. And that’s not all. Everything Elmhurst makes with this process is either sold or used in other products, meaning zero waste. Their facility is hydro-powered, their plant sources are fully traceable, and their packaging is 100% recyclable.

I'm a member of the Hive buying team, but hadn't had a chance to try this cashew milk until now. It's super-creamy, smooth and tasty. I prefer organic, but this is a great product with responsibly sourced cashews. Makes a great creamer!
